SGCC steel, also known as Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel， Classified as a mild steel, SGCC is characterized by its hot-dip galvanization process, which involves coating the steel with a layer of zinc to enhance its durability against environmental factors.
Hot-dip galvanizing is one of the effective means to delay the environmental corrosion of iron and steel materials, it is the surface of the cleaned, activated iron and steel products immersed in molten zinc, through the reaction and diffusion between iron and zinc, in the iron and steel products surface plating good adhesion of zinc alloy coating.
Galvanized steel is mild steel with a coating of zinc. The zinc protects the steel by providing cathodic protection to the exposed steel, so should the surface be damaged the zinc will corrode in preference to the steel.
304 and 304L have similar properties, however 304L has a lower carbon content. This lower carbon content results in improved weldability and a lower risk of reduced corrosion resistance around the weld. It should also be noted that 304L also demonstrates a slightly lower yield and tensile strength than 304.
316L stainless steel is commonly used in pulp and paper making equipment, heat exchanger, dyeing equipment, film processing equipment, pipes, materials used for the exterior of buildings in coastal areas, as well as watch chains and case of advanced watches.
321 stainless steel plates are part of the austenitic family of stainless steel. 321 is basically a 304 grade containing a stabilizer of titanium. Type 321 is a good choice for applications where heat is an issue. 321 can be used in applications up to 900°C. Grade 321 has excellent forming and welding characteristics.
904L stainless steel plate (super austenitic stainless steel) is a high alloyed austenitic stainless steel with very low carbon content. It has good corrosion resistance in dilute sulfuric acid and is specially designed for environments with severe corrosion conditions. It has high chromium content and sufficient nickel content.
304 stainless steel plates are part of the austenitic family of stainless steel and they are one of the most versatile and widely used varieties of stainless plate. They are a relatively low cost stainless product and used in a variety of applications. 304 grades have excellent low temperature properties and respond well to hardening by cold working.
Q235B steel plate is a kind of low carbon steel. The national standard GB/T 700-2006 “Carbon Structural Steel” has a clear definition. Q235B is one of the most common steel products in China. It is cheap and can be used for most products that do not require high performance.
